Ipsy December Glam Bag is here!!! I was worry about this one because the tracking number I got didn't have any updates for 3 days!!! but I got it on a saturday and I was jumping when I saw the pink bag in the mailbox! USPS did not fail me! :)
I have to say this about the bag, it is not what I expected from the sneak peeks. I was expecting a really nice satin or canvas feel bag however it is not all that smooth. but i do like the design of the bag versus the ones with the zipper on the front that doesn't carry too many items. The Ipsy keychain is a nice touch and the inside of the bag is actually very well made. Looks sturdy and a reddish purplish lining inside. so I think I can say that I have a love/hate relationship about the bag hahaha.
Cailyn Just Mineral Eye Polish #5 Orchid I did a swatch of the color and also the applicator of it. I have owe similar eyeshadow with the same wand and it wasn't a good applicator at all. I would have tiny eyeshadow sprinkling everywhere around my eyes. However this one impressed me a lot! the wand has a soft tip and easy to apply, it is nice! but the color doesn't show color on my skin just a light shimmer.
I've been wanting to try the Tarte lights, lashes, and camera mascara so thank you Ipsy for reading my mind. it would have been a perfect bag if I got the eyelash curler with it! Because I really like the Tarte mascara and eyelash curler set! Oh well....if I like this mascara enough I will just get the set then. I do have a few mascara to try this month so not sure when I will get to this one. The reviews have been positive for this tho so I don't know how long I can wait. :)
NYX butter lip balm in marshmallow which is a nude color. Back in June Bag I got a NYX butter gloss and I used it none stop! so I'm sure this lip balm is also going to be a great product!
Sexy Hair 450 degree Blow Out heat defense spray and I used it this weekend to blow dry my hair. I was pretty happy with the result for how shiny my hair got and the slight hold is wonderful! I use a big round brush to round in the ends and give it volume too. This spay helped my hair with shaping and gives it a healthy glow. I like this product after just one use!
BWC facial cleanser 100% vegan paraben free soap free no synthetic fragrances
Never heard of this cleanser before so I don't know anything about this. I will use this on my travels and from the look of it looks gentle for the skin.
This month's Ipsy bag is very nice with great products to try. I am happy with this bag and my most exciting item from this bag was the Tarte mascara because I've been wanting to try. Cailyn eyeshadow really shocked me with its impressive application wand however the color is too close to my skin tone. I am very happy with this month's bag!!! :)
