Birchbox January 2015 review

My January Birchbox came so fast this month! I didn't pick anything from the sample choice email so this is a completely random or what they say curated box based on your profile.

I got a pretty good variety box from makeup to skincare to haircare.  so like Birchbox say 2015 Let's Do This!

The info card with a detail list of all the products from my box.  This month didn't have any bonus item tho :/

Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner in the color Jaipur Gold.  to me this looks like a olive greenish shimmer color.  not sure if this is my color tho.  This is a sample size of .024oz/.7g and a full size is .06oz/1.6g for $11.00 so this is a third of a full size so it's not bad at all.  But at least it's not a black one that I have like 5 of them laying around.

theBlam Stainiac in the color Beauty Queen 1.2mL/0.04fl.oz and full size is .3fl oz for $17.00 I never know how to use a stain for cheeks it never blends well for me.  but i will try this for my lips and give them a rosey tint.

Naobay Body Radiance Lotion is 30mL/1.0fl. oz. it is very moisturizing lotion with a light lemongrass scent. full size product is $18 for 250mL.

Number 4 Hair Care Non-Aerosol Hairspray 30mL/1.0fl. oz. and the full size is 200mL for $30 I've tried their super comb prep & protect spray and enjoyed it last summer.  This hairspray has a good smell and a good hold to keep flyaway in place.

When Travelmate sheet Mask face mask.  this botanical loaded shet mask soothes and nourishes after sun, wind, and other elements.  this face mask is suppose to fit any size shape face and i am hear this because I have used others that is too small to cover the whole face.  A set of 4 mask is $28! so this one alone is $7!

This box has a value of $19 in my calculation for all 5 products.  I will use 3 out of 5 products and I think I will need to give the eye pencil a try to see if it will work with my skin tone.  I like Birchbox for the fact that it gives me products that I wouldn't buy myself or try so this is such a great way to try new products and if i don't like it just toss it and not have to hurt my wallet too much.  That's why I like sample sizes so I wouldn't waste anything if I don't like it.
